Where do we Teach?

The Youth Activity Center

Partner Site

We have been teaching at our first site, the Youth Activity Center (YAC), since Noah started in 2016. Other teachers have taught there as well and we continue to have a close relationship with the site to this day.

Florence Fuller East and West

New Sites!

In 2018, we started teaching at the Western location of Florence Fuller Child Development Centers (FFCDC). We loved it so much that we wanted to teach more kids there! We expanded to FFCDC East, where the staff had already heard about us from FFCDC West.

Pearl CATS

Achievement Center

New Site!

During the summer of 2019, we started teaching at the Achievement Center and we knew it was so great that we had to go back! We resumed teaching during the school year and we love inspiring the Achievement Center kids.

Boys & Girls Clubs

New Site!

In 2019, we taught a Winter Camp at the Boys & Girls Clubs location in Palm Beach County. Not only did we teach students, but we also trained 5 new teachers to help canCode grow!

SOS Foster Village

New Site!

To kick off 2020, canCode expanded into SOS’s Foster Village in Coconut Creek. The children at SOS absolutely love the canCode workshops. We are so happy to teach there and continue to expand our impact out of Boca Raton.

Adopt a Family

New Site!

As a part of our 2020 Online workshop expansion, we began serving elementary schoolers as a part of the Adopt a Family’s Project Grow summer program. Adopt a Family’s Project Grow gives formerly homeless children and foster children free child care and resources.

Public Library

New Site!

For the first time, canCode workshops are available to the general public! With our partnership with the Palm Beach County Library System, canCode is being offered every Friday at 3pm online. Visit the county library’s website to learn more and sign up for canCode workshops.

Quantum House

New Site!

The Quantum House provides a home for families with a child receiving treatment from a hospital in Palm Beach County, and especially those at St. Marys Hospital in West Palm Beach. We began giving virtual instruction to their elementary schoolers during the summer of 2020.
