Here are some challenges for students to make their cards even more fun!
Challenge 1
Say something!
Make a character say something when you press the space key.
Hint: Add a character from the bottom right, and Use the Say block from Looks
Challenge 2
Celebrate!
When you open your card make your character change color!
Hint: Use the Change Color Effect block from Looks on a certian backdrop...
Challenge 3
Spin!
When you open your card make your character spin! If you're still stuck on the event, try the When Backdrop Switches To (from events)
Hint: Use the Rotate block from Motion
Challenge 4
Transform!
When you open your card make your character change into something else!
Hint: Use the Switch Costume block from Looks
Challenge 5
Introducing...
Add a starting block to your character and make your character tell a story or introduce your card when the Green Flag is Clicked.
Challenge 6
Sounds!
Instead of speech bubbles add in sounds!
Hint: Switch out a Say block for a Play Sound Until Done block from Sound
Challenge 7
Soundtracks!
Have a cool soundtrack playing in the background of your card!
Hint: Use the Play Sound Until Done Block from Sounds
Challenge 8
Be Intense!
Bring your card to another level by slowly increasing your soundtrack’s pitch!
Hint: Use the Change Pitch Effect By Block from Sounds
